# Convert CSV to QFX for Quicken

_Canonical: https://qbomaker.com/csv-to-qfx.html_

If your bank only gives you a CSV and Quicken will not import it, you need a .QFX (Quicken Web
Connect) file. QBO Maker builds one from your CSV in the browser, and your statement is never
uploaded.

Convert at https://qbomaker.com/#tool, then choose .QFX (Quicken) as the output format.

## How to convert CSV to QFX
1. Export your transactions from your bank as CSV or Excel.
2. Open the converter and drop the file in.
3. Confirm the date, amount and description columns (auto-detected).
4. Set the output format to .QFX and download.
5. In Quicken: File, File Import, Web Connect (.QFX) File.

## Notes
Quicken's Web Connect import expects the Intuit-flavored .QFX (it includes an INTU.BID tag),
which QBO Maker adds automatically. If your software is not Quicken, use the generic .OFX
instead. Works with a single signed amount column or separate debit/credit columns, and US, UK
or ISO dates.
