# Convert Revolut CSV to QuickBooks (.QBO)

_Canonical: https://qbomaker.com/banks/revolut.html_

Revolut does not export a QuickBooks Web Connect (.QBO) file. Both the personal app and Revolut Business let you download an account statement as a CSV, and that CSV is what you convert here. Revolut statements are clean and well structured, which makes them one of the easier exports to map.A Revolut Business CSV typically gives you the date the transaction started, the date it completed, a description, the amount, a separate fee column, and a running balance. Amounts are signed, so money out is negative and money in is positive. For reconciliation you usually map the started or completed date plus the amount column. The fee column is separate, so if you want fees as their own entries in QuickBooks, plan for that with rules after import rather than folding them into the amount.Watch the currency. If your Revolut account holds more than one currency, exporting the wrong account or a mixed statement will give you amounts in different currencies in the same file. Export one currency account at a time. Then bring the CSV here, map the date and amount once, and download a .QBO that imports like a normal bank feed.

## Steps

1. Export your transactions from Revolut online banking as CSV or Excel.
2. Open the QBO Maker converter and drop the file in.
3. Confirm the auto-detected date, amount (or separate debit/credit) and description columns.
4. Choose .QBO as the output and click download.
5. In QuickBooks Online: Transactions → Bank transactions → Upload from file, then select the .QBO. In Desktop: Banking → Bank Feeds → Import Web Connect File.

**Does Revolut export a .QBO or .OFX file?**
No. Revolut exports CSV (and PDF) statements. To get a file QuickBooks Desktop reads, convert the CSV to .QBO with QBO Maker. It runs in your browser.

**Which date column should I use?**
Most people map the completed date, since that is when the money settled. Just be consistent across exports so your transactions sort and reconcile the same way each period.

**How do I handle Revolut fees?**
Revolut lists fees in a separate column. If you want them booked on their own in QuickBooks, set up a rule after importing the .QBO. If you only need the net movement, map the amount column as is.

**Is my Revolut statement uploaded anywhere?**
No. The conversion is fully client-side in your browser, so your statement never leaves your computer. Convert your Revolut CSV now.
